These apply to anyone taking part in a KDA drop-in session, clinic, league or tournament. By submitting a registration form, you accept these Terms and Conditions, the Code of Conduct, the Privacy Policy and the Liability Waiver. Tuesday players should also read the official Drop-In Session Information & Policies.
The minimum age for KDA activities is 14. A specific event may set a higher minimum age in its published entry requirements.
You must be in a fit state to take part in physical activity. If you have a medical condition or injury that could be affected, tell a committee member before you play.
A place is only confirmed once you have submitted the registration form. Sessions have a capacity of 48 active players. Registration closes at 7:30PM on the day of the session, or earlier if all slots fill before then.
The first-timer rate applies only to your first KDA session. Returning players should register as regulars, not first-timers — KDA may correct or remove a registration that misuses the first-timer rate, and may decline a refund where payment has already been made.
If a session is full, a waitlist may be opened through the KDA WhatsApp community. A waitlist place is not a guaranteed place.
Fees are RM10 for regular players and RM5 for first-timers, payable in cash at the venue before play, by bank transfer, or by DuitNow QR. Payment and check-in may be handled by Darren Robin, Kendra Sim, Ryshaune Lee, Sofea Idayah, Adriana Leja, Brian Chin, Lee Yang, Arthur William, Tisha Ai, Eiss Arina, Adam Jaboh, Rofina Rhodea or Hadif Aiman. If you pay online, you must be able to show your receipt to a committee member on arrival.
Entry may be refused if payment cannot be confirmed.
To cancel, complete the KDA cancellation form before 7:30PM on the day of the session. This lets us offer your place to someone else. Submitting the form sends a request to KDA Admin, who verify it against the roster manually — it doesn't remove you automatically.
If KDA cancels a session, all payments for that session are refunded in full or carried forward, whichever you prefer.
If you can't make it but already have someone to take your place, message one of the committee and they'll manually change the registration for you. If you don't have a replacement, you must still complete the cancellation form — a transfer isn't a substitute for cancelling.
Entries to KDOT and other KDA tournaments are generally non-refundable once registration closes and teams have been drawn. Any tournament-specific terms will be published with that tournament's registration.
You may state a preference for the social or competitive court, but organisers decide the final allocation based on registrations and the balance of play on the night. The social court is recommended for newcomers and newer players, but places are not prioritised by experience.
Where fewer than 30 players are registered, both courts may be merged and all players placed into mixed social games.
All participants are bound by the KDA Code of Conduct and the Liability Waiver. Referee and organiser decisions on the night are final. KDA may remove any participant from a drop-in, clinic, league or tournament for unsafe or unacceptable behaviour, without refund.
KDA photographs and films sessions and events for its social media channels and website. If you do not wish to appear, tell a committee member and we will keep you out of published material. We will remove photographs or videos already published by KDA when you ask us.
The KDA name, logo and the content KDA publishes on this website and its social media belong to Kuching Dodgeball Association. Please don't reuse them without asking us first.
Dodgeball is a physical contact sport and carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, fitness and personal belongings.
Information published by KDA is provided in good faith for organisational purposes. To the extent permitted by law, KDA is not liable for loss, damage or injury arising in connection with its sessions and events, except where such liability cannot be excluded.
Session times, venues, fees and formats may change. Changes are announced through the KDA WhatsApp community and this website. These terms may be updated from time to time; the version published here is the one that applies.
KDA is not responsible for a session or event being cancelled, delayed or changed for a reason beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, government order, public health measures, or the venue becoming unavailable.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a dispute comes up, we'll try to resolve it informally with you first; where that isn't possible, it is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sarawak.
